What a White Christmas it will be! We had a very cold, snowy family session...perfect for the holidays! Everyone did such a great job for it only being about 10 degrees that day...but nothing a little hot cocoa couldn't cure.

We did our session on 1st St..they are an outdoorsy family, and what better way to bring out the rustic charm of Laramie than down by the trains...

This photo (below) by far has to be my favorite of the day...It captures the love, and makes me smile everytime I see it!! I can't wait to finish editing this session!

Meet the Lopez Family

We did our session at the Hilton Garden Inn. The setup in the hotel was perfect for the holiday photos Nicole wanted. This was her first time getting family photos done and I think I would mark it a success :) We had a great time, especially chasing around B most of the session. Time flies thats for sure!

What a fun session this was. We got up first thing in the morning to have a session. 

The sun was bright and shiny. What a glorious day it turned out to bed.

I surely got my workout this day. We played soccer, colored, blew bubbles, played tag, played on the play equipment... what a day full of fun activities. 

Then we got a few photos of big brother & baby sister and of course baby sister by herself.

I'm way behind on my blogging. I do have a few sessions I would like to share from this past summer.

The S family. Mom wanted more formal portraits. But I was able to get a few in there that were fun! :) The kids had a fun time climbing on the rocks, smelling the flowers, and just having a great time.

The other day I definitely got my workout!!

We spent the morning playing soccer, blowing bubbles, coloring, throwing rocks into the pond, swinging, and running around! It was a blast. I couldn't have asked for a better way to start my morning than hanging out with a fun 4 year old and a SUPER ADORABLE 1 month old. 

He just LOVES being a big brother. 

I loved meeting all of you!

I haven't known this family long, but from the time they lived in Laramie until they moved we always had so much fun together! My son loved to play with their son and I was really sad they moved. They don't live too awfuly far away, but its definiately not the same. 

The day before they moved we planned on a fun day at the park for photos. 

The fun and the puddles came first! So much for any "formal" photos. I love how real and natural this session is without all of the posing.

You Capture - {Play}

So I'm entering this weeks challenge a couple days late, because I decided a couple days ago to get back on the ball with my photography and capture moments that I can someday look back on and be thankful I captured those moments.

Plus it gives me an excuse to practice because I still have a long way to go with shooting manual 

and I love putting my twist on editing...

anyways here is what "Play" means to me this week.
These were all taken today..he is at the age {16mo} where its nearly impossible to keep his room in order. He LOVES to play with everything!
