So I'm entering this weeks challenge a couple days late, because I decided a couple days ago to get back on the ball with my photography and capture moments that I can someday look back on and be thankful I captured those moments.
Plus it gives me an excuse to practice because I still have a long way to go with shooting manual
and I love putting my twist on editing...
anyways here is what "Play" means to me this week.
These were all taken today..he is at the age {16mo} where its nearly impossible to keep his room in order. He LOVES to play with everything!
I haven't quite gotten through all 749 vacation photos and picked all my favorites or done much editing, but here are a couple "sneak peeks" from the trip!
Its been awhile since I'm posted a before/after photo. This photo is of my son last week while we were at the park just before my camera snagged on my leg and landed on my lens and knocked the lens into 2 pieces.
I did a few things to this photo. First in lightroom I upped the exposure and added a bit of vibrance and clarity. Then in photoshop bumped the curves, added some warmth, and dodged/burned his eyes a tad, and then sharpened his eyes. Cropped it a bit and thats it!
I have been slacking on editing photos and uploading them. I have TONS to show you that just sit here. And I finally got around to finishing up this really cute photo of my son, who will be 15mo in 5 days!! Wowzers.

I have been playing around for quite some time now with different watermarks and couldn't come up with one I really loved. I just want to have something simple for the time being while I figure out my photography brand.
Which I'm actually thinking of changing the name from Color My World Photography & Design to Color My World Studio because when I do get my own domain name typing colormyworldphotographyanddesign is SUPER long and ridiculous, but colormyworldstudio is much better. BUT the .com is taken already. All of the other domains are available. .net, .org, .info but I'm not sure if I want those. .net isn't too bad. But I'm not completely set yet.

I want to get my website up sometime in the next few months because I'm hoping (cross my fingers) that all of the friends that mentioned to me they want photos taken will let me do that. 13 sessions hopefully. That would be great!!
