So I'm entering this weeks challenge a couple days late, because I decided a couple days ago to get back on the ball with my photography and capture moments that I can someday look back on and be thankful I captured those moments.
Plus it gives me an excuse to practice because I still have a long way to go with shooting manual
and I love putting my twist on editing...
anyways here is what "Play" means to me this week.
These were all taken today..he is at the age {16mo} where its nearly impossible to keep his room in order. He LOVES to play with everything!
To continue with more photo editing, here is a gorgeous photo of the sky here in Wyoming during sunset. I really wanted to bring the eye in on the colors of the sky because they were seriously this stunning!

Its been awhile since I've participated in the fix it friday challenge, and I really do miss it! I'm ready to get back into the swing of things with photo challenges and editing. This photo was already great SOOC, and just needed a few minor adjustments to make it "pop". Enjoy!
These photos are LONG overdue but they are finally done!!
During the entire session Krystal was in active labor. 4 hours after the session ended she had her beautiful baby boy.
Isn't she just stunning in these photos? We were going to do some photos outdoors but it was super windy so we just did a few inside. For not having a studio I think they turned out pretty good!
*Next on my list is getting a few backdrops and stands so if need be I can have a studio* This is Wyoming after all and it snows more than is warm.
I am so happy we were able to get these photos finished before she had her son! I hope you love these just as much as I do.

My family has been there for me through EVERYTHING.
I love them so much and I am so happy I got to be the photographer this family trip.
Since the sneak peek, I've done more touch ups and editing and here are my favorites.
B&W is gorgeous...but the location was meant for color. B&W doesn't do justice for how rich and vibrant and creamy the red rocks are.
I am so happy my family got to take a trip to Arizona.
Cannot wait to go back!
This wonderful family are dear friends of mine, and I was sad that they ended up moving away in June. We haven't known each other long, but our boys loved getting together for playdates at each others houses, or to swim or play at the park.
I left for vacation not long after they moved and have been back for about 3 weeks now and am finally getting a chance to get a couple sneak peek photos up!
I can't wait to show you the rest here soon!!
While I was in Arizona this summer visiting my family and my husbands family we had family photos taken.
I had just bought a tripod and a remote for my camera, and didn't spend the time practicing before doing the photos. So while fiddling around with the camera, forgetting to up my SS I did manage to sneek in a few good shots. I didn't have many to choose from so I was happy that some of them did come out!
It was a fun late afternoon session, quick, with GORGEOUS views.
