August Photo Hunt Challenge

Ok I have "officially" entered this months photo challenge. I have been debating the last couple days whether or not to enter, if I'll have enough time, etc. But the fact is I have plenty of time to take photos. And I need to be able to use my imagination and explore the place I live.

So even though I'm a week late, I will do it.

Mini Sessions!!!

SOOC Saturday {Aug 7}

I am entering a new challenge this week. Straight out of camera (SOOC for short) saturdays.

I've been shooting on full manual for awhile now, but still have a lot to learn, and I'm excited that when October comes, I'll be starting a new Professional Photography program through the NYIP. 

I took this photo yesterday right after a nice rainstorm. We have some beautiful flowers planted around the house, these purple ones captured the waterdrops so perfectly. 

If I was to fix the photo, I would just add some warmth and bump the curves and thats it. Its a great shot. I'm very pleased with myself it turned out without having to edit =)

Fix-it-Friday [Aug 7th]

Another fix it friday (a day behind). Usually I try something new as far as editing goes every week. This week I do what I normally do as far as warming a photo, softening skin, running boost action. This week I ran the vintage action and did some tweeking. I love the finished result!

Brother & Sister {Sneak Peek} | Laramie, Wyoming Child Photographer

The other day I definitely got my workout!!

We spent the morning playing soccer, blowing bubbles, coloring, throwing rocks into the pond, swinging, and running around! It was a blast. I couldn't have asked for a better way to start my morning than hanging out with a fun 4 year old and a SUPER ADORABLE 1 month old. 

He just LOVES being a big brother. 

I loved meeting all of you!

I haven't known this family long, but from the time they lived in Laramie until they moved we always had so much fun together! My son loved to play with their son and I was really sad they moved. They don't live too awfuly far away, but its definiately not the same. 

The day before they moved we planned on a fun day at the park for photos. 

The fun and the puddles came first! So much for any "formal" photos. I love how real and natural this session is without all of the posing.

Jessyca Maternity {Sneak Peek} | Laramie, Wyoming Portrait Photographer

My brain is full of sugar plums dancing in my head...LOL I thought I had posted the sneak peek on my blog, but I guess I haven't!! Too much to think about..so little time!

Last week I had the pleasure of photography Jessyca & Cory. We had so much fun, and it was gorgeous day. Jess was super tired but she was such a trooper through the entire session! They are expecting their little bundle of joy to arrive on Aug 7th.

But guess what!? Hes already here!!!

Born on Friday, just 4 days after the session!!

I sure can't wait to meet the little cutie!!!!
